ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto has assured the Indian Prime Minister, Mrs Indira Gandhi, that Pakistan will continue to work steadfastly for the establishment of durable peace in the subcontinent while taking measures to ensure its own security. In his reply to the Indian [PM`s] letter of March 20 despatched a few days ago Mr. Bhutto is learnt to have again emphasised the need for settlement of the Kashmir dispute in conformity with the principles and within the framework of the Simla Agreement. Responding favourably to the Indian [PM`s] suggestion that hostile propaganda should end, Mr. Bhutto is understood to have pointed out that while the media in Pakistan was pursuing policy of restraint, the Indian Government was yet to take necessary steps to ensure cessation of hostile propaganda against Pakistan.
