FAISALABAD: Tussle over the slapping of a doctor at Samundri THQ Hospital by a PML-N MPA evaporated on Wednesday night after the legislator sought an apology from the medic at a press conference at Allied Hospital.

Amid presence of MNA Mian Abdul Mannan, Dr Nisar Jutt, MPAs Sheikh ljaz, Ilyas Ansari, Azad Ali and others, MPA Rao Kashif Raheem said he had made a mistake and `now I seek apology from Dr Saeed Ashraf Wahlah`.

Following his apology, doctors forgave the legislator.

Earlier, in order to express solidarity with Dr Wahlah, medics from Allied and DHQ hospitals did not perform their duties at OPDs.
