LAHORE: The provincial government on Wednesday transferred Punjab price control and commodities management department secretary Ajmal Bhatti and directed him to report to the S&GAD for further orders. He was serving the secretaryship on an acting charge basis.

Punjab industries, commerce and investment department secretary Umar Masud has been assigned the additional charge of the post of the price control and commodities management department secretary, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.

Punjab Director General (food)/ cane commissioner retired Lt Shoaib Khan Jadoon has also been transferred and directed to report to the S&GAD for further orders.

Punjab Director General (industries, prices, weights and measures) Asif Ali Farrukh has been assigned the additional charge of the post of DG (food)/cane commissioner in addition to his own duties, till further orders.—Staff Reporter
