KEEPINGin view the dismal literacy rate in Sindh, it is alarming that a private school (Saint John Grammar School) at Jacobabad was closed on Sept 25 to host a function, which was presided over by Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair.
Earlier all students were sent on a forced holiday.
It would have been nice if the organisers had selected some other and more appropriate venue for such an event, instead of a school.
