LAHORE: PPP`s NA-100 ticket-holder Dr Amir Ali Husain along with his supporters on Saturday announced unconditional joining of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI).

Dr Husain, who is brother of former MNA Tassadag Masood, called on PTI central Punjab President Abdul Aleem Khan at Chairman`s Secretariat and said he would actively participate in party`s activities in central Punjab.

Mr Khan said Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif was making false claims of development as the ground realities showed that poverty level had increased manifold in Punjab.

He said the underprivileged would hold the corrupt rulers accountable in the next general elections with the power of their votes.

He said the PML-N`s politics was revolving around personal interests.
