20 passengers injured as bus overturns

TOBA TEK SINGH: More than 20 bus passengers were injured when a bus overturned in an attempt by its driver to save a motorcyclist on Sangla HillFaisalabad-Road near Chak 153RB, Sahianwala, on Monday.

According to Rescue 1122, 20 passengers, including seven women, were shifted to Chak Jhumra THQ and Allied hospitals. They included Mohsin, Akash, Ahmad, Shahzaib, Zunaira, Zahid, Gulnaz, Sameer, Sohail, Mubashar, Bilal, Naeem, Khalid, Sardaran Bibi, Sehrish, Asma, Shahnaz, Rasolan, AbdulQadir and Nabeel.

Meanwhile, a truck hit a woman at Faisalabad near Model City locality located on Satiana Road on Monday as a result she was criticality wounded and died instantly. Rescue 1122 said deceased identified as Rani Bibi, of Chak 238 GB, was crossing the road.
