TOBA TEK SINGH: More than 20 bus passengers were injured when a bus overturned in an attempt by its driver to save a motorcyclist on Sangla HillFaisalabad-Road near Chak 153RB, Sahianwala, on Monday.

According to Rescue 1122, 20 passengers, including seven women, were shifted to Chak Jhumra THQ and Allied hospitals. They included Mohsin, Akash, Ahmad, Shahzaib, Zunaira, Zahid, Gulnaz, Sameer, Sohail, Mubashar, Bilal, Naeem, Khalid, Sardaran Bibi, Sehrish, Asma, Shahnaz, Rasolan, AbdulQadir and Nabeel.

Meanwhile, a truck hit a woman at Faisalabad near Model City locality located on Satiana Road on Monday as a result she was criticality wounded and died instantly. Rescue 1122 said deceased identified as Rani Bibi, of Chak 238 GB, was crossing the road.

MURDER CASE: Faisalabad`s Samundri city police have traced the murder of a 10-year-old girl who went missing on Saturday, and her body was recovered on Sunday from the rooftop of the house of her neighbours.City Police Of ficer Syed Khalid Mahmood Hamdani told a press conference on Monday that a 15-year-old neighbour boy who was taken into custody as a suspect along with some other suspects confessed that he had lured the deceased girl to his house and hammered her to death after raping her. ENCOUNTER: A gunman, injured in an encounter with Jhang pouce on Sunday, ned police custody at Faisalabad`s Allied Hospital on Monday.

According to the Faisalabad Civil Lines police FIR, complainant Jhang Kotwali police SHO Muzammil Hayat said wounded gunman Muzammil Zahid ofMuzaf f argarh was referred by the Jhang District Headquarters Hospital to the Faisalabad`s Allied Hospital due to his serious condition.

In the custody of Jhang`s Maghiana police post`s in charge Husnain Abbas and constable Adeel Kazim, he was being treated in an Allied Hospital ward. They both showed negligence and did nothandcuff the accused.
