OKARA: On checking the documents of rickshaws and motorcycles, riders put up resistance and manhandled a police team at village 23/D late on Sunday.

The Shergarh pouce patrolling team headed by ASI Iqbal Hasan stopped an unregisteredloader rickshaw and a motorcycle and asked for documents but the drivers resisted and manhandled constable Waqas Manzoor.

The Shergarh pouce registered a case against Shahid, Arshad, Manzoor Ahmad and Azhar and three unidentified people under sections 353, 186, 506, 379, 148 and 149 of the PPC.
