Sohbat Ali`s travelogue on Thailand launched

MITHI: A travelogue Thailand ja thak safarnamo, latest in a series of similar works by renowned Sindhi writer Baloch Sohbat Ali, was launched at a ceremony here on Saturday.
The book launch was organised by the Dharti Dhani Forum in collaboration with the Thar Education Alliance at a private hall in the town.
The town`s literati, retired Prof Mukhtiar Samo, poet Khalil Kunbhar, Krishan Sharma, Partab Shivani, Jani Mansoor, Dr Santosh Kumar, Anil Paryani, Haji Saand, Dilip Kothari, Vijay Sharma, Bharu Mal, ImamJanjhi, Khalid Jogi and others unveiled the book and praised the author for his literary achievements.They highlighted Sohbat Ali`s career, noting that he had authored 32 books to date, many of which weretravelogues exploring various countries and cultures.
Despite being a lawyer by profession, the author wasan avid traveler, documenting his experiences in captivating narratives that offered readers a windowinto diverse cultures and landscapes, they said.
His previous works included travelogues on Indonesia, Nepal, and Malaysia and his latest work on Thailand was in continuation of his tradition of bringing far-flung destinations closer to home through his vivid storytelling, they said.
They praised the author`s ability to enable readers to embark on these journeys from the comfort of their own spaces.
The event concluded with participants congratulating the author on his remarkable contribution to Sindhi literature and expressing hope for more such works in Sindh.
