APROPOS a news item published in Dawn`s metro page180nJanuary27under the headline `People leave after asking for the price of medicines`, a spokesperson for Pharma Bureau refuted the allegations by an unknown pharmacist that medicine prices were `increased in connivance with pharmaceutical companies and DRAP`.

Terming it a `serious allegation`, the spol(esperson said it was an attempt to damage the reputation of members of the Pharma Bureau.
