TAXILA: Four persons, including two brothers, lost their lives in separate incidents in various parts of Attock on Tuesday, police and rescue sources said.

Hamid Ali, 12, along with his 19-year-old brother Farooq Ali of Boota Akhori near Attock went to the Haro River to beat the heat.

During bathing, Hamid slipped into the deep waters. The elder brother tried to rescue him but he also drowned.

Later, local volunteers along with a Rescue 1122 team retrieved the bodies and shifted them to hospital. A pall of gloom spread in the area when the bodies were taken home.

Separately, a man stabbed to death his father over a domestic dispute in his house located on Dhokari Road near Methu Khan Dam in the limits of Fatehjang police station on Tuesday.

Police said Raheem after exchange of hot words with his father took out a knife and stabbed his father Javaid Akhter to death and fled.

It may be mentioned here that it is the fourth murder case during the last 20 days in Fatehjang. The police have failed to arrest the culprits involved in the cases. Correspondent
