LAHORE: A minor boy and a woman were reportedly injured, one of them critically, after a fire broke out at a house in Harbanspura area here on Monday.

A Rescue 1122 team shifted them to a local hospital.

A spokesperson for the Emergency Service said 27-year-old Iqra suffered 60 per cent while Ayan (5) got 5pc burns.

He said the condition of Iqra was stated to be critical due to multiple chest and neck burns.

The Rescue 1122 managed to control the fire within two hours and handed over the premises to the police for further investigations.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, according to the official.
