LAHORE: Covid-19 claimed life of another patient in the provincial capital during the last 24 hours.
In Lahore the positivity ratio of the virus was recorded 3.1 percent during the same period.
However, the new positive cases witnessed a slight decrease as 91 more patients tested positive for the virus during the last 24 hours, taking the total number to 58,258.
As per Punjab health department figures, out of the total new cases, 58 were reported in Lahore, and 14 in Rawalpindi, the two cities which have been sharing most of the disease burden so far.
Overall, Punjab recorded 1.3 positivity rate of Covid-19 and it was reported 1.1 in Rawalpindi, 1.7 in Gujrat, 1.9 in Bahawalpur and 1.1 in Sargodha.
