MIANWALI: After the torrential rain over the mountains of the district, the hill torrents created havoc and damaged mud hoses and standing crops.

The hill torrents in tehsil Isakhel, namely Adwala, Barooch, Mandakhel, Chachali and Nihal Shah inKalabagh inflicted huge losses.

The Nihal Shah hill torrent water cut off the Kalabagh city from other parts of the district and inhabitants of Kalabagh remained stranded in their houses for many hours.

The gushing water entered shops of the main bazaarandthe shopkeepers lost their belongings.
