TOBA TEK SINGH: A Faisalabad duty magistrate issued on Tuesday seven-dayphysicalremand of three suspects arrested in connection with allegeddesecration of the Holy Quran in Jaranwala.

According to a press release issued by Faisalabad city police, three main accused of the Holy Quran desecration incident were produced before the court online for hearing and on police request, the court granted their seven-day physical remand for investigation purpose.

Sources, however, say that these three suspects, who are being termed by police main accused, are alleged accomplices of the two brothers who were arrested for alleged desecration on Aug 17, a dayafter the Jaranwala riots in which several churches and house of Christian community were damaged and burnt by enraged mob. Correspondent
