LAHORE: Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Thursday launched the `Back to School` enrollment campaign at the Government Kinnaird Girls High School on Empress Road.

She also inaugurated the Smart Classroom Project, a significant step towards modernising education in the province, and participated in a tree-planting activity with students.

During the event, Maryam Nawaz presented school bags to girls, personally helping one of them to wear the bag.

Unicef, in collaboration with the School Education Department (SED), provided 1,000 school bags and early childhood kits to students as part of the initiative.
