Education reforms

2017-10-30
APROPOS the article `Education Reform` (Oct 26). Kudos to the writer for pointing out a grave issue afflicting Pakistan.

In my opinion the quality of education is a more important matter than the outcome of the Panama papers saga. The major danger facing our country today is the lack of a quality education system.

Our pathetic education standards are the root cause of all problems. Our leaders need to realise that a good education available to all citizens irrespective of caste, creed and social status is the best guarantee of a progressive and peaceful nation. The people need to wake up and resolve this issue on a war-footing as corrective measure taken today will show results after a decade give or take a couple of years.
