ZEBRA crossings are drawn on traf fic signals for pedestrians to cross roads safely. When the traf fic light goes red, vehicles are supposed to stop behind the zebra-crossings.
Butin Pakistan zebra-crossings have disappeared. Were these crossings exist, people don`t bother to follow them, eveninlarge citieslike Lahore and Islamabad.
People stop vehicles over the zebracrossing or sometimes ahead of it. This causes dif ficulties for pedestrians in crossing the road, walking between cars.
I request all those who drive to respect zebra crossings. Rules are meant to follow and not to break.
