LAHORE The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Wednesday arrested two suspects for their alleged involvement in illegal currency business in the city.
According to a spokesperson, Waqas Ayub and Khalid Mahmood were allegedly running an illegal currency business on Abbott Road.
He said an FIA raiding team recovered Rs38 million from their possession. He said both suspects had been doing hundi and hawal business for quite some time.
The FIA said this year it arrested a total 79 suspects involved in this illegal currency business.—Staff Reporter
