RAHIM YAR KHAN: The Pakistan Tehreek-iInsaf is way ahead in popularity than rest of the parties, including PML-N, says PPP`s South Punjab president Makhdoom Syed Ahmed Mehmood.

`PTPs popularity is 70 percent while rest of political parties combine are 30 percent,` he claimed.

Mehmood was discussing political matters with former PML-N MPA Umar Jaffar (son of former National Assembly deputy speaker Jaffar Iqbal Gujjar), who visited Jamaldin Wali onwednesday to offer condolences to Mehmood on the death of his uncle Makhdoom Hussain Mehmood.

In a viral video, Mehmood said had Nawaz Sharif sought his advice before returning to Pakistan, I would have advised him to first go to jail and then fight his cases in courts.-Correspondent
