THE carnage at the Army Public School, Peshawar, showed we reaped what was sown during Gen Zia`s era. Over the years, we have been nurturing a vile and vicious mindset of religious extremism in the name of religious rights.
To my mind, TTP murderers are not the only bunch responsible for this deadliestever attack in Peshawar, our ruling elite, dictators in particular, are also culpable because they let religious fascism grow.
They let theocratic factions flourish. They let people like Maulana Abdul Aziz work in sheer liberty in the capital.
