SUKKUR: Police failed a plan of Teghani and Jagirani criminal gangs hatched to kidnap 11 people belonging to different towns of the district.

According to a police spokesman, the gangs were trying to lure them into their trap using woman`s voice on mobile phone, but the technical team of Kandhkot-Kashmore SSPAmjad Shaikh traced the number of criminals and saved the people belonging to Hyderabad, Rohri, Sukkur, Pano Akil, Ghotki, Muzaffargarh, Bahawalpur, Shaheed Benazirabad, Shikarpur and Jacobabad.

The criminals invited the persons to visit their area, but the SSP`s team traced them and informed them about the plan.

The would-be victims thanked the police for saving them from kidnapping.
