24 judicial officers transferred

LAHORE, Jan 30: Lahore High Court Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial on Wednesday made transfers and postings among 24 judicial officers of the district judiciary.

According to a notification, 21 civil judges-cum-judicial magistrates have been transferred.

Shafiq Äbbas was transferred and posted from Kharian to Gujrat, Ijaz Ahmad from Kharian to Gujrat, Saima Pervaiz Butt from Gujrat to Kharian, Ghulam Shabbir from Gujrat to Kharian, Fiaz Hussain from Liaquatpur to Darya Khan, Muhammad Amin Shahzad from Bhalwal to Malakwal, Shumaila Sheikh from Rawalpindi to Chichawatni, Tahir Manzoor from Chichawatni to Arifwala, Shaukat Abbas from Arifwala to Rawalpindi, Nabila Jaffery Syed from Chiniot to Chakwal, Dildar Shah from Chakwal to Chiniot, Akhtar Hussain Kalyar from Fort Abbas to Shujaabad, Sarfraz Ali Mirza from Shujaabad to Fort Abbas, Malik Muhammad Shakeel from Khanpur to Khanewal, Muhammad Ahmad from Shujaabad to Khanpur, Muhammad Umar Khan from Depalpur to Sheikhupura, Mughira Munawar from Sheikhupura to Depalpur, Khalid Mahmood Warraich from Sialkot to Chishtian, Rashid Nawaz from Chishtian to Lahore, Sultan Asghar Chatha from Kallar Sayedan to Nankana Sahib and Mohsin Mumtaz from Nankana Sahib to Kallar Syedan.

The CJ also transferred Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Aslam Bhatti from Sialkot to Jhang, Bedar Bakht from Jhang to Sialkot and Muhammad Abbas from Bahawalnagar to Arifwala.

Services of Khanewal District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Islam were placed at the disposal of the Punjab government for his posting as judge of the Anti Terrorism Court No-H Lahore.
