NOWSHERA: A man drowned in the Kabul River in Akbar Pura while taking bath on Saturday.

Officials said that Aziz Khan, 21, drowned in the Kabul River when he was bathing in the river in violation of Section 144 imposed by the district administration. They said that search for the body was underway.

It merits a mention here that two brothers had drowned few days ago in Khairabad and the body of one of them was still missing.

Meanwhile, Al(ora Khattak police arrested four robbers, who had allegedly looted people in the garb of security forces. Police sources said that they recovered the motorcar and arms used in the crime. Hameedullah had filed FIR that he along with friends was present at Khairabad Bridge when four men introduced themselves as security personnel and lootedcashandmobilephonesetsfromthem.-Correspondent
