KOHAT: The police killed a suspected killer of their official and held his accomplice during a daylong operation in Shielchan area here on Saturday.

Havaldar Amjadullah was martyred during a police encounter with armed robbers in Laal Mela area of Muhammadzai union council last week.

Gang leader Yousuf was killed in the operation led by district police officer retired Captain Masnsoor Aman.

The Mohammad Riaz Saheed police traced the other gangsters and killed Naseem of Darband area on Saturday and held Abdullah of Muhammadzai area.

The two were named in the FIR registered by the cantonment police for the Havaldar killing.
