Youth`s body found a week after drowning

TIMERGARA: Divers of the Rescue 1122 service on Saturday recovered the body of Shoeb, a youth from Khall Bar Kallay, who had drowned in the Panjkora River on Eid day.
Volunteers of the Al-Khidmat Foundation and civil defence also tookpartinsearchofthebody.The body was found near Baroon area and shifted to the rural health centre, Khall, wherein it was handed over to the relatives.
A mini truck carrying five people, including the victim, had plunged into the river near Sacha Mera Bridge seven days ago. Four passengers had been rescued by the locals while body of Shoeb had been missing.
Also in the day, a youth identified as Shehzad, a resident of Samarbagh, was 1(illed when a motorcycle he was riding hit a vehicle at Hanafia Mayar. The youth received multiple fractures onhead and died on the spot. The Mayar police registered a case and started investigation.
COURTS TO REOPEN ON MONDAY: The outgoing district and sessions judge Kulsoom Azam on Saturday announced that all the courts would start working from Monday. She was speaking at a farewell party hosted in her honour by the district bar Timergara.
The DSJ asked the legal fraternity to take the Covid-19 pandemic seriously as it was fast spreading in Dir. She said she felt hard when she took charge as female DSJ in Dir 14 months ago.
`However, I was fully supported by lawyers, judicial staff and local people,` she said, adding Dir was feasible for women to work in every field.
The function was also addressed by the newly-appointed district and sessions judge Altafur Rehman, additional sessions judge Sher Aziz, civil judge Qaisar Khan, president district bar Jehan Bahadar and other senior lawyers.
