OKARA: The court of additional district and sessions judge Renala confirmed the pre-arrest bail of 12 PTI activists nominated in the first information report (FIR) registered with City Renala police under sections of the PPC, MPO and Anti-Terrorism Act.

The workers, namely Mahr Iqbal, Rana Imran, Noman Gujjar, Noman Nazar, Rao Mannan, Rao Agib Iqbal, Rao WaseemJugnoo, Muhammad Tayyab, Dr Akhtar Rasool, Aleem Yousaf, Muhammad Naveed and Rana Muhammad Zaki, approached the court seeking the pre-arrest bail through their counsel Fahad Zaman Bhatti.

The Section 7 of the ATA was deleted by ATC Sahiwal Judge Zahid Mehmood Ghaznvi.

Later, the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Renala Hasan Abbas Syed deleted Section 16 of the MPO.
