RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Government is willing to have a discussion in the Security Council on the threat to peace in the IndoPakistan subcontinent which was said to have formed the basis of UN Secretary-General U Thant`s recent confidential memorandum to the Security Council President.

Pakistan Ambassador in the UN, Mr Agha Shahi, is learnt to have conveyed to the UN Secretary-General that Pakistan would welcome with a sincere desire to avert the existing threat to peace in the region because she believes that the war hysteria being built up by the Indians would help no one not even the Indians.
