BOMBAY: The Working Committee of the AllIndia Muslim League today [July 30] called upon the Council of Action of the Muslim League to prepare a detailed scheme of direct action.

The Council of Action consists of not less than five and not more than seven members nominated by the President of the Muslim League, Mr. M.A. Jinnah. A Council of Action appointed by the President ... in December 1943 is in existence. But it is believed that in view of the new and drastic decisions taken by the Council of the All-India Muslim League yesterday, a new Council of Action will be constituted in a week or ten days` time.

The Council will prepare a detailed scheme which will be submitted to the Working Committee of the Muslim League for approval and implementation. Meanwhile, August 15 has been fixed to hold public meetings throughout India to re-affirm the League Council`s resolutions. ... The new Council of Action will also prepare a tour programme of top-ranking leaders of the Muslim League to tour various parts of the country with a view to explaining to the Muslims the full implications of the two resolutions passed by the Council yesterday.
