JERUSALEM: Israel threatened today [July 30] to ban all UN and other organised international activities on its soil should it be excluded or suspended from the world organisation. On Israeli television, Foreign Minister Yiga Allon said not only would all UN activities in his country be halted, but also all efforts by international organisations toward a Middle East settlement. He said if Israel`s accreditation were not fully recognised at the coming General Assembly, he would recommend to the Israeli Government measures involving an end to the Geneva Middle East Peace Conference, and UN aid to Arab refugees in Israelioccupied territories. His demands would include closure of the UN representation in Jerusalem, Allon said.
