LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a government employee and two agents at a passport office on the charge of taking bribe from citizens to make their passports.

The FIA AntiCorruption Circle Lahore team raided Shahdara Passport Office here on Wednesday and arrested three persons, including a staff member of thepassport office The arrested suspects include Nadeem Butt, Akash Shiraz, and Ghulam Rasool Pasha The FIA said the suspects were extorting money from citizens by offering them quick passport processing.

Passports, tokens, bank challans, receipts, and other evidence was recovered from the suspects Raids are being carried out to arrest other accomplices. -Staff Reporter
