HYDERABAD: Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto today [Aug 30] gave a stern warning to black marketeers, declaring that they would be taken to task if they did not mend their ways soon. He was addressing a large gathering at Makli in Thatta ... at the end of his tour of the flood-affected areas of the province.
He said it was shocking that, even at a time when the people were suffering from flood devastation, the black marketeers were hoarding commodities of daily use in their shops and houses. The Prime Minister said that the People`s Government would not tolerate the exploitation of the people at the hands of the black marketeers, hoarders and profiteers and would take ... measures to set them right.
He said once free of the problems of the floods, the People`s Government would give full attention to this problem and eradicate the anti-people`s forces. The Prime Minister said that the People`s Government, by ending the class system in Government service, has struck at the very root cause of corruption and nepotism. News agencies
