LAHORE: Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Mian Mahmoodur Rasheed has announced challenging Section 144 in the Lahore High Court on Monday (today).

Speaking at a news conference along with Dr Yasmin Rashid at Chairman`s Secretariat on Sunday, Mr Rasheed demanded that all those involved in the National Security Committee (NSC) meeting leaks story should be put on Exit Control List.

He said it would be a very serious situation, if the instructions to leak the story were given from the Prime Minister`s House and added that the NSC meeting story was anti-Pakistan.

The opposition leader condemned the sad incident on motorway that led to the death of a lieutenant colonel and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family. He demanded that those, who placed shipping containers on the motorway, should be held accountable.

Adviser to PTl chairman Dr Yasmin Rashid said the Nawaz government had become confused and arrests and police torture could not deter party workers from reaching Islamabad on Nov 2. Staff Reporter
