TAXILA: Two men turned out to be the killers of their mother andfatherinseparate cases asthe police said it resolved the blind murder cases.

In both the cases, the complainants had actually plotted and executed the murders.

In the ñrstincident,the body of a woman was found from a graveyard about a week ago. The police registered a case on the complaint of her son, Jabbar.

However, during the investigation it transpired that she was allegedly killed by Jabbar. The suspect told the police that he killed his mother for honour.

In the second incident, 72-yearold Mohammad Iqbal was going to offer Fajr prayers on Oct 14 when he was shot dead. The police registered a case against unknown assailants on the complaint of his son, Shoukat Mehmood.

The investigators later found that the complainant, a tailor by profession and father of three, was allegedly behind the murder.

During the investigation, the suspect told the police that he killed his father for his property. The police said arms used by the suspects in the murders had also been recovered.
