HE young listeners can`t stop clapping and dancing at Gul Panrha`s upbeat songs, she has sung for Pashto films and CD dramas. She says her music caters to the liking of all. Her new album `Zama Ghazal` is for those, who like soft music and ghazals. Gul Panrha, a young Pashto singer, who shot to fame in a short time, says she herself likes soft music.

`It is always fun to watch youth dancing at an upbeat Pashto film song, but my latest album is for those, who like ghazals,` says Gul Panrha. Generally Pashto female singers hail from the families, who have adopted music as a profession for generations but Gul Panrha says she loved singing so not caring for taboos she started singing. She has recently completed her master degree in social work.

She says that youth should change the trends and step up to show their hidden talent. She has been singing for Pashto CD dramas. Many of her singles like `Za Yama Gul Panrha`, `Ay Zama Nadan Malanga` and `Garzam Darpasey Dera Jarhaa Razi` were appreciated by the young and the light-hearted people but her ghazal is for those, who want to listen to soft Pashto music. `Zama Ghazal` is what they should listen to, says Gul Panrha.
