KARAK: Worl< on the remaining portion of KarakDarratang road would be resumed soon, said Adviser to Chief Minister Malik Qasim Khan here on Wednesday.
Addressing a public meeting in Jehangeri area, he said that Rs750 million would be spent on the project. He added that construction of the road was a longstanding demand of the residents of the area.
Mr Khan said that the road from Karak to Mianwali was approved during the MMA government. Worl< on the first phase of the road was completed while its remaining portion of 19 kilometres would be also built.
He said that provincial government was interested in development of the district and more projects were in the pipeline. Correspondent
