LAHORE: The marketing companies on Friday raised the prices of the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG)byRs10perkilogram.
The LPG distributors association described the increase as `the first gift of the new year`, says a press release.
Now Rs100 has been enhanced on domestic cylinder and Rs400 on commercial cylinder. `The risein the rates is due to increase in the LPG rates in international markets.
The price in the internationalmarkethasincreased $67 per ton and the new price per ton has become $467 from $400 per metric ton,` the statement reads, requesting the prime minister and petroleum minister to devise feasible policies for the LPG import.Staff Reporter
