PESHAWAR: A Chinese company has expressed keen interest in hydel power generation projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The offer was conveyed to the coordinator of the chief minister on economic affairs and investment promotion cell, Rafaqatullah Babar, by a delegation of `Khan Khai Tuny International`, during a meeting here on Monday, according to a handout.

The Chinese company representatives said that the KP province had been blessed with natural resources of oil, gas, minerals and hydel potential.The delegation also conveyed the message of the Chinese ambassador to Pakistan, saying that he desired to meet the Chief Minister Pervez Khattak and invite him on a visit to China very soon.

Rafaqatullah Babar assured every assistance to the foreign investors interested in development of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said the provincial government would provide security and protection to foreign investors as it was fully cognizant of their security concerns.
