KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers, Sindh, on Monday claimed to have detained half a dozen suspects in Larkana as part of their recently launched drive against criminals across Sindh.
“In connection with operation against criminals in interior Sindh, six criminals have been arrested from Bakrani and surrounding goths of Larkana,” said a Rangers spokesperson.
“After necessary interrogation, criminals were handed over to police.”
In Karachi, the paramilitary force has conducted targeted raids in Baldia and Lyari areas and apprehended three suspects — two involved in targeted killing and extortion and the third affiliated with the Babla Ladla group.
Arms and ammunition were seized from their custody.
Separately, the Rangers detained four suspects and seized weapons from them during snap checking at Khada Market, Kalri and on Sharea Faisal.
