KARACHI`s streets are full of stray dogs that roam the entire city quite freely.

One of the places where these dogs are found in large numbers is Karachi University where I am student. The dogs are usually found near the Mass Communication Department and the Visual Studies Department.

These stray animals are mostly wounded and sometimes bleeding. If they aren`t treated, they might develop rabies which, in turn, will jeopardise the safety of students studying here.

Pedestrianstudents are an easy targetfor these rabid creatures. I would like to request the university or the authorities concerned to take immediate action in this regard.

I would also like to advise my fellow students to steerclearofthese dogs.
