LAHORE: A young man was stabbed to death allegedly by his rivals in Factory Area on Saturday.

Police said Saqib (25) was standing outside his house when his opponents Siddique and Faizan approached.

Police said the suspects attacked Saqib with knives and injured him critically and fled the scene. The victim was shifted to a nearby hospital where he could not survive.

Police shifted the body to morgue forautopsy and registered a murder case againstthe suspects.

In another incident, a labourer died after falling from a roof in Chuhng on Saturday.

Ali Hassan of Sunder was working as alabourerforconstructingthe house of Muddassir in Muhafiz Town, Canal Road. He fell from the roof and was taken to a nearby hospital where the doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.

Police shifted the body to the morgue and started the investigation.
