KARACHI: The Met department has forecast light rain in the city on Friday (today) and Saturday (tomorrow) that may cause a slight drop in temperature.

According to the department, the weather would be partly cloudy in the city on Friday under the influence of a fresh westerly wave that`s expected to enter southwest Balochistan in the small hours of Friday. `Light rain/drizzle may occur in Karachi division on Feb 2 while rain/thunderstorm is expected on Feb 3 and Feb 4,` says an advisory.

It further says that the westerly wave would also cause rain/thunderstorm in Jamshoro, Dadu, Larkana, Qamber Shahdadkot, Jacobabad, Shikarpur, Kashmore, Sukkur, Ghotki, Naushahro Feroze, Khairpur on Friday (today) and Saturday (tomorrow).-Staff Reporter
