K ARACHI: A trailer driver has ended his own life in Malir, police said.
Malir City SHO Riaz Ahmed Bhutto said 50-year-old Abdul Samad arrived at his sister’s residence in Malir near Anwar Baloch hotel, and after a little while, shot himself on his head. He was taken to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre where he died during treatment.
He said the deceased was reportedly depressed. He had a son and a daughter; however, he was not ‘in touch’ with them. He usually stayed at his sister’s residence where he came after gaps of several days. He drove heavy vehicles in Balochistan.-Staff Reporter
