MARDAN, Dec 2: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa senior minister and central vice-chief of Jamaat-i-Islami Sirajul Haq has assailed the federal government for being `non-serious` in resolving issues facing his province.
Addressing a gathering of party workers at Jamia Islami Tafheemul Quran, Mardan here the other day, he said the station chief of CIA should be handed over to provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for awarding him punishment.
JI`s central general secretary Liaqat Baloch, provincial amir Professor Ibrahim, vice chief Mushtaq Ahmad and Mardan district amir Maulana Sultan Mohammad were also in attendance.
Mr Haq lamented that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif didn`t bother to visit the violence hit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province since he became the chief executive of the country.
`We also condemn the non-serious attitude of the federal government to resolve problems facing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,` he added. -Correspondent
