ISLAMABAD: The opposition PTI hinted on Tuesday that it would welcome support from JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman in their struggle against the government.
PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja told the media the party would welcome anyone who stood by the party and supported their struggle.
‘It is possible that some may walk with us for one mile, some for 10 miles and some till the end, butwhy should we reject them?’ he said.
Saying that the Maulana was no ‘saviour’ or ‘messiah’, Mr Raja said they had no expectations from anyone. ‘However, we want that the caravan should grow,’ he said, adding that PTI would welcome support from the Maulana if he offered it.
