SARGODHA: An ASI accused of abusing and threatening a petrol pump security guard has been suspended and arrested along with his associates.
According to sources, ASI Muhammad Sohail of Tirkhanwala police station in the Farooka town of Sargodha allegedly abused Allah Ditta, a security guard at a petrol pump on Sajuka Road, along with his associates in a car on Thursday night.
Not only did he threaten him with serious consequences, but he also snatched his weapon and fired in the air, the sources claimed.
The police registered a case against the accused on the com-plaint of the security guard, after which the ASI was suspended and arrested and an investigation was initiated.
Taking notice of the incident, Sargodha DPO Taugir Muhammad Naeem sought a report from the SDPO and said that no one is above the law and misuse of authority will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
GANG RAPE: Separate cases have been registered for the gangrape of two minors in Sargodha.
In one case, a 10-year-old boy went missing from Chak 103 NB, Sargodha after he went to a Milad gathering but did not return home.
The Saddar police registered a kidnapping case on the complaint of the abducted child’s mother.
However, the child was later found lying unconscious at adeserted place and was immediately shifted to the hospital. He was allegedly gang-raped by five miscreants of the area.
Earlier, an 11-year-old Hafiz Quran was allegedly gang-raped by six men, who also made videos and threatened to upload the videos on social media if the police were informed.
Separate cases have been registered for both the incidents, but no arrests have been made yet.
