Beyoncé releases Cowboy Carter

Cowboy Carter, the eighth studio album by Beyoncé, was released on March 29, 2024. It is the second instalment of Beyoncé`s trilogyproject conceived during the Covid-19 pandemic, following Renaissance (2022). Mostly labelled a country, Western and R&B album, Cowboy Carter contains elements of pop, opera, house, Jersey club, classic rock, hip hop, blues, soul, rock, rhythm and blues, funk carioca and folk.
The project took over five years, and features country legends like Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, and Linda Martell alongside people like Miley Cyrus and Post Malone, contemporary pop artists with country roots.
