The Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) has announced the return of Trainer`s Pokémon, set for early 2025.

This feature, which highlightsPokémon owned by iconic trainers, will make a comeback alongside the reintroduction of Team Rocket. Trainer`s Pokémon were last seen regularly during the XY era.

The reintroduction will include cards featuring characters like Marnie, Lillie and N, with Steven Stone also confirmed for upcoming sets. The Pokémon TCG will continue using Pokémon-ex cards. Additionally, The Pokémon Company revealed that Pokémon TCG: Pocket, a new app with digital-only cards and simplified rules, will launch on October 30th. There is also speculation about a later 2025 release for Pokémon Legends:ZA, although no details were given at the Pokémon World Championships.
