LAHORE: A young man was electrocuted when he touched door ofhis housein Sundar on Tuesday.

Police said Shahbaz, 25, received a fatal electric shock when he touched his house`s main gate. The man suffered serious injuries due to wet ground of the gate and some live wire accidentally touched the door after heavy rain on Monday night.

Shahbaz was shifted to Jinnah Hospital where he could not survive.

Police handed over the body to the family after autopsy.

SUICIDE: A teenage girlcommitted suicide in her house in the Factory Area on Tuesday.

Police claimed Amna, 15, daughter of Jamil of Madina Colony, had committed suicide by shooting herself in the temple with the licenced pistol of her father.

Quoting her mother, the police said all the family members were sitting in the courtyard when they heard a gunñre and rushed to the room where Amna was lying in a pool of bloo d.

Police said girl`s mother in her statement said she did not know why her daughter committed suicide.

Police said girl`s father Jamil was in Murree for a business deal.
