LAHORE: A woman was allegedly tortured to death by her husband and in-laws over some domestic issues in the Cantonment area.
Rehan informed police that his sister was killed by her in-laws.
Police found that Rehan’s sister, Sobia, was living with her parents after developing differences with her husband, Hussain. Two days back, Hussain apparently reconciled with Sobia and took her home. On Tuesday, Sobia’s in-laws informed her parents that she, allegedly, died by suicide.
The complainant alleged that his sister was tortured to death by her husband and in-laws, and now they were trying to cheat the police by portraying her death as suicide.-Staff Reporter
