KHUZDAR: A man killed his daughter-in-law in the name of honour in Balochistan’s industrial town of Hub on Saturday.

Police said that Mohammad Yaqoob strangled his daughter-in-law and escaped.

After receiving information about the incident, police shifted the body to Jam Ghulam Qadir Hospital, conducted a raid on the house of Yaqoob and arrested his son, who was the husband of the slain woman.

“It is an incident of honour killing,” a senior police officer told Dawn, adding that police were also making efforts to arrest Yaqoob.
